CIBA VISION® UK Sales team back World Sight Day Challenge
CIBA VISION®, Global Founding Corporate Patron sponsor of Optometry Giving Sight, is backing the global World Sight Day Challenge through the support of their sales team. Throughout September and October, the CIBA VISON® Sales force will be offering their customers the opportunity to take part in the challenge, and in doing so will be helping to make a difference to the lives of the 670 million people who are blind or vision impaired simply due to uncorrected refractive error.
In the UK, Optometry Giving Sight is joining forces with Vision Aid Overseas for the second year running with a joint campaign, whereby funds raised from the optical profession will be equally divided and put towards sustainable projects.

The World Sight Day Challenge enables the optical profession to unite and make a difference by simply donating £1 from every spectacle or contact lens sale throughout October; donating their eye exam fees on 14th October (World Sight Day); and/or having a practice celebration.

CIBA VISION® will also be taking part in the World Sight Day Company Challenge during October, where they plan to have an internal event at their head office in Southampton.
