The success of AIR OPTIX® AQUA MULTIFOCAL leads to an innovation award in France
AIR OPTIX® AQUA MULTIFOCAL contact lenses were selected as the “most innovative product in the contact lens industry” by approximately 800 French opticians. Every two years, the leading French professional magazine, Inform’Optique, invites its readers to vote for the best innovations in the vision correction sector. One prize is awarded for the most innovative product in contact lenses.
AIR OPTIX® AQUA MULTIFOCAL contact lenses were launched across Europe in 2009 and have enjoyed success with both eye care professionals and contact lens wearers.
CIBA VISION® conducted an extensive evaluation of AIR OPTIX® AQUA MULTIFOCAL contact lenses, involving more than 200 eye care professionals and 2455 contact lens wearers1.
The study revealed that nearly 9 out of 10 eye care professionals agreed that AIR OPTIX® AQUA MULTIFOCAL contact lenses will be their preferred multifocal contact lens in their business. And an astounding 96% of eye care professionals also stated that they would recommend AIR OPTIX® AQUA MULTIFOCAL contact lenses to other professionals1.
The success of AIR OPTX® AQUA MULTIFOCAL contact lenses in the UK can also be seen by the fact that since its UK launch it has quickly become the No.1 fitted multifocal contact lens by UK practitioners.2.
