Fitting information

Focus® DAILIES® with AquaComfort™ one-day contact lenses should be comfortable immediately upon insertion. Clinical studies have shown lens movement at 5 minutes following insertion to be the best predictor of movement after 8 hours1. Follow-up appointments should be made to determine acceptability of performance as normal, and then every 6 to 12 months as you consider necessary. Studies have shown that a satisfactory fit can be achieved in over 90% of eyes2.

Focus® DAILIES® with AquaComfort™ are made from Nelfilcon material, which incorporates Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA), an ocular lubricant commonly used in comfort eye drops. Focus® DAILIES® with AquaComfort™ now contains five times more free PVA than original Focus® DAILIES®. With each blink, PVA is gradually released from the lens into the tear film throughout the day (up to 20 hours) resulting in improved end of day comfort.
