AIR OPTIX® NIGHT&DAY®

Clear, comfortable vision for up to 30 nights continuous wear.

Patient selection
Recommended for patients who seek up to 30 nights continuous wear, want to wake up and see and have unpredictable schedules.

Lens selection
Start with the 8.40 BOZR, and then move to the 8.60 BOZR if a flatter fit required. BVP as close as possible to best spherical correction.

Power selection
The advanced aspheric design may reveal ±0.25D change or more difference in overrefraction from previous prescription.

Wearing times and aftercare
Follow-up aftercare is important to ensure successful extended wear. If lens fit and initial performance is satisfactory, you are free to recommend a follow-up schedule which suits you and your patient. The suggested guidelines for a follow-up visit schedule are: one day; one week; one month; three months; six months; up to six months thereafter.

Follow-up procedure
While AIR OPTIX® NIGHT&DAY® lenses are indicated for continuous wear, your patients should be told to follow some basic safety precautions. Patients should check their eyes every day to make sure they are comfortable and free of redness or irritation, and that their vision is clear. The Patient Instruction Booklet contains a list of problem symptoms; patients are instructed to contact you if problems persist.

Features Benefits
Unique material, Lotrafilcon A Reliant on its fluorosiloxane path rather than its water content to transmit oxygen
Oxygen transmission of 175 Dk/t Significantly exceeding the Harvitt and
Bonanno threshold of 125 Dk/t*.
AIR OPTIX® NIGHT&DAY® delivers up to 6 times more oxygen to the cornea than ordinary soft contact lenses, and can serve as a great 'problem solver' for hypoxia related problems
Unique plasma treated surface High resistance to protein deposition
Hydrogel phase Allows for good lens movement and lens handling properties
